At FertiGator Lawn Care, we offer two lawn fertilization programs: standard and deluxe. While both of these programs include fertilization, weed control, lawn disease control, and lawn insect control treatments, what sets them apart is that we use our fertigation process to fertilize your lawn in our deluxe program. Our fertigation process involves fertilizing your lawn via your irrigation system, and we will use our unique MOJO fertilizer that combines nutrients and organic supplements to supply your lawn with everything it needs to grow beautiful and strong.
Our Lawn Fertilization Schedule
No matter which of our fertilization programs you choose, we will visit your property 6 times throughout the year to apply our treatments. Here is a breakdown of our lawn fertilization schedule:
- Step 1 (February 1st - March 31st) - This step includes an application of our liquid fertilizer with iron to help your grass green up, both pre- and post-emergent weed control treatments, and an application of our preventative insect and disease control treatment.
- Step 2 (April 1st - May 31st) - During our second visit, we will apply another round of liquid fertilizer with iron, a post-emergent weed control treatment, and a preventative insect and disease control treatment.
- Step 3 (June 1st - July 31st) - We will apply a customized liquid fertilization treatment that includes extra potassium to help your lawn make it through the summer season. We will also apply a weed control treatment as well as another round of our preventative insect and disease control treatment.
- Step 4 (August 1st - September 31st) - This step will include all of the same treatments as our 3rd step.
- Step 5 (October 1st - November 31st) - Our 5th step includes an application of liquid fertilizer that contains extra nutrients, such as nitrogen, to help your lawn recover from the summer. This step also includes weed control, lawn disease control, and lawn insect control treatments.
- Step 6 (December 1st - January 31st) - Our 6th step includes a liquid fertilizer treatment that is customized to help prepare your lawn for the winter. We will also treat any weeds in your lawn and apply another round of our preventative insect and disease control treatment.
If needed, we will apply a granular fertilizer treatment to your lawn during each visit to give your lawn an extra boost!
